The number of new multi-family units increased significantly in 2020 from 2019, after a strong decline of multi-family new unit construction in 2018. Multi-family new units returned to the amount of new units being built from 2015 through 2017.

New apartment unit construction drove West Whiteland, Tredyffrin, and East Whiteland to have the highest number of new units constructed in 2020.
East Pikeland (54 units), and Sadsbury (46 units) had the highest number of new single-family detached units, significantly less than municipalities with the highest new units in 2019. East Whiteland (70 units), and West Bradford (66 units) added the most new single-family attached units.
