Meet our New Admin Support Staff

We are thrilled to introduce Angela Dracup, the newest member of our Admin team here at the Chester County Planning Commission!
After working in the Chester County Assessment Office for five years and seeing all the development happening throughout Chester County, Angela became interested in the entire planning process. She transferred to CCPC when an admin position became open, commenting, "I know the end result from working in assessment, but I want to grow my understanding of the planning process as a whole for Chester County." She is eager to get involved with sustainability and clean energy initiatives as well.
An avid Philadelphia sports fan, Angela supports all teams but has a special love for the Philadelphia 76ers and says, "Who is more entertaining than Joel Embiid (when healthy) and Tyrese Maxey?"
After living in Bucks County for six years post-high school, Angela returned to Chester County in 2011. She currently lives in Downingtown with her husband, Dave, and their two daughters, Ava (19) and Amaya (11).
Angela's favorite places in Chester County include the Boroughs of Downingtown, West Chester, and Phoenixville for their vibrant dining scenes and nightlife. Outside of the county, she enjoys beach destinations with clear waters and warm weather. In fact, Angela and her husband were in Jamaica for their honeymoon during the onset of the COVID-19 shutdown back in 2020. "Thankfully, we were able to get home safely without any issues," she notes, despite their terrifying (and stressful) experience.
In her spare time, Angela can be found cheering on her daughter Amaya at gymnastics competitions or visiting her older daughter, Ava, at Temple University. She also enjoys relaxing by the pool at St. Anthony's Swim Club and spending time with her loved ones.
Angela lives by the inspiring words of Maya Angelou: "If you don't like something, change it. If you can't change it, change your attitude."
