Posted April 21, 2023
CCPC's Planners' Forums provide the opportunity to learn about and discuss current planning topics amongst professional planners and other interested individuals each Spring and Fall.
The latest Planners' Forum welcomed more than 80 attendees via Zoom and in person at the Tredyffrin Township Building on March 29, touching on a variety of current issues such as office park reinvention, planning for equitable community greening, and the expansion of passenger rail in the region!
Presenters included Eric Goldstein, President of the King of Prussia District, who discussed post-pandemic office park trends; Shane Morgan, Director of the White Clay Creek Wild & Scenic River Program, who described the process and outcomes of developing an equitable community greening plan for Avondale Borough; and Tom Frawley, Executive Director of the Schuylkill River Passenger Rail Authority, who provided an overview of the efforts to restore passenger rail service to Phoenixville, Pottstown, and Reading.
"We would like to thank our wonderful presenters, as well as Tredyffrin Township for hosting our Spring Planners' Forum," said CCPC's Executive Director, Brian O'Leary. "It's great to see so many planners coming together to stay up to date on current topics for the future of our region."
