Meet CCPC's New Board Member
Posted February 20, 2023
Each member of the Chester County Planning Commission's 9-member advisory Board brings a wealth of knowledge to the table, and we are very excited to welcome CCPC's newest Board Member, Andy Wright!
Although new to the Board, Andy is a familiar face around the county as he worked in CCPC's Act 247 Review Division from 1996 to 1999. Prior to that, he received his BA in Geography-Urban Planning from West Chester University, and now works as the Senior Director of Corporate Real Estate for WillScot-Mobile Mini.
When asked what he hopes to accomplish as a CCPC Board member, Andy replied "To provide feedback and insight on all current land planning issues, specifically affordable housing." He also serves on the West Whiteland Township Planning Commission as Vice Chairman.
Some of Andy's favorite activities include spending quality time with his wife and two daughters, cooking for family and friends, and cheering on his beloved team — the Philadelphia Flyers! Aside from that, Andy can often be found watching a cooking show on Food Network or visiting Marsh Creek Lake.
While he was born in Baltimore, MD, Andy has lived in southeastern PA since 1981, and currently resides in West Whiteland Township with his family.
We look forward to working with Andy again!
